My grandfather sadly died during lockdown, unable to travel back to my hometown due to social distancing, I attended the funeral virtually. I photographed through my laptop, baffled by how such an intimate moment was now taking place, separated by the screen but also connected through it.

I thought about other people grieving in this way, it doesn’t seem real yet.
